Partnerships
Curious County Review considers partnerships that fit its interest in county geography, place names, landscapes and local history. We accept clearly labelled partner features and standing partner placements when their subject and presentation are appropriate for readers.
A good subject fit
Potential collaborations might support a relevant editorial project, a map or local-history resource, or a cultural initiative connected to county places. A proposal should explain the subject, intended audience, proposed format and what the partner would contribute. We do not promise coverage in return for support.
Clear labels, separate decisions
Partner-funded features are labelled as partner material. Standing partner placements are identified as partner placements wherever they appear, and are kept distinct from editorial recommendations. Payment does not guarantee editorial coverage, a favourable description or control of independent articles.

Use the Contact page and select the partnership option. Describe the organisation or project, the placement or collaboration you have in mind and any relevant timing. We review proposals for subject fit, clarity and whether the arrangement can be presented transparently.
A county is a story told in place
Maps, names and records offer different clues. Put them together and familiar ground starts to read differently.
